Test Prep Teacher Guides

Remember when you graduated high school and threw a brain party over never having to deal with standardized tests ever again?

Well, you may not be taking these suckers, but your students are. And unless you want them to suffer the same way you did, you'll want to lend them a hand. That's what our Test Prep Teacher Guides are for.

We've got one for SAT, one for ACT, and one for CAHSEE, and here's how to best put them to use.

1. Customize your prep.

Each of our Test Prep Teaching Guides lets you decide how long you want to spend prepping your students. Want to cram it all in to 4-week course right before the test? We've got an outline for that. Prefer to spend a few months prepping students? We've got a plan for that, too.

Our course planners will help you get organized so you can be sure you have enough time to cover everything.

2. Hit 'em with handouts.

We offer ready-to-print handouts so your students can interface directly with the Shmoop material in the classroom without you having to yammer on the whole time. Handouts include sample problems, classroom activities, and more.

3. Follow our lead.

We know you have plenty to deal with, so we've written scripted lessons that won't make your students snooze. We tell you what to say, when to say it, and what to do when your students start going off the rails. (Yeah, we've been in a classroom or two in our day.)
