For a job that pays next to nothing, it's shockingly difficult to get in.
This is a job that a lot of people want. With upwards of 350 applicants for a squad, the competition is fierce. It's tough to get in. There are a lot of talented and personable cheerleading professionals out there, so to get on the squad you're definitely going to need the dance skills, athleticism, coordination, knowledge, and ten-foot-wide smile to back it up.
