  • Talbot is taken prisoner by the French.
  • Talbot is freed and returns to the English, where the good guys of the English aristocracy welcome him with open arms.
  • Talbot fights with Joan, and then concludes she is a witch.
  • Talbot leads a sneak attack on the French, who have just conquered Orleans and are a bit distracted after their big victory banquet. Apparently by the end of the attack just shouting "A Talbot" scares off the French forces.
  • Talbot goes to visit the Countess of Auvergne because she invited him and it's the chivalrous thing to do. She tries to take him prisoner, but Talbot laughs and shows her his armies, so she apologizes and feeds him dinner instead.
  • Joan takes Rouen, but Talbot and Burgundy are able to win it back in a single day.
  • Talbot visits the king and is made Earl of Shrewsbury because of his courage and service to the King.
  • Talbot tears away the garter that Sir John Fastolfe wears as a symbol of being a particular kind of knight. Talbot says Sir John is too cowardly to be a knight of the garter, and everyone else agrees.
  • Talbot and his son are in a fierce battle with the French. The English could have sent reinforcements, but don't do it in time because York and Somerset just can't work together. Talbot and his son go out together in a blaze of glory, defending each other and fighting for England. Talbot is so scary in battle that the French king, Charles, says they won't have any trouble with the English now that Talbot's gone.
