Synergy

Such a cliche. Yes, yes, one plus one really is more than two. Just ask Big Brother.

Synergies are all about that two-plus thing, and bankers pitch mergers and acquisitions as producing a lot of more-than-twos when they suggest one company over another company, and point to the market power, the increased profit margins, the increased shared resource efficiencies, and so on.

"Synergies" rhymes with "win-ergies"? Or...something like that.
