You earned it. You were taxed on it. It's yours. Totally, fully, and lawfully. That's like...most money.
So what's unlawful money? Well, ever see Breaking Bad? Yeah, drug deal money is unlawful. So is money that Lyft drivers take under the table...er, over the shoulder of the passenger seat...to give you a lift, not telling Lyft, who should be getting a cut.
Things that trade on the Black Market, the Gray Market, and pretty much anything related to illegal gambling is all unlawful money.
Not to be confused with ugly stenciling on the old French franc, which would be termed L'Awful Money.
