You get hired by a hip Silicon Valley startup, Hips, Inc., now dba Hip, Hip, Hooray, Inc. They provide lunch for all their employees...everyone gets a $20 daily credit. This credit counts as a form of flex dollars. You can buy up to $20 using the internal cash. But that cash isn't of any use in the real world. You can't drive down the street and use your company bucks at the local Starbucks.
