FINEX: the Financial INstruments EXchange.

FINEX first made its appearance on the financial products scene on the New York Board of Trade in 1985, selling assets, futures, options, and other financial instruments. FINEX was borne out of the necessity to trade derivative financial assets, which began poppin’ in the mid-80s.

FINEX outgrew its first home and moved to a second: the Intercontinental Securities Exchange (ISE). Talk about moving up in the world…

Fun fact: FINEX was the first exchange division to operate on two continents (New York, USA and Dublin, Ireland).
