Business Recovery Risk
Categories: Insurance, Company Management
Business Recovery Risk is the amount of loss a business sustains in its day-to-day revenue due to not being able to perform business.
This can include damage to physical property, being unable to access software programs, or even workers going on strike. When evaluating these risks (and how to avoid them), the business can classify them as short, medium, and long-term impact risks, depending on how each scenario would affect the business and how long it would take to recover from it.
