The authentic leader puts it all out on the table. She doesn’t twist or mince words or tell people what they want to hear…she tells it how it is regardless of what others think.
Authentic leaders generally don’t lie…well, they might tell little white lies, like saying that new outfit looks good when it’s actually hideous…but they don’t lie about the big stuff.
They’re just straightforward. And sometimes way too brutally honest. They’ll also tell you if you have pepper flakes on your teeth or a boog hanging out of your nose.
